Review: I first came to know Summerland Flowers via the wedding planner I had the fortunate good luck of running into...because I live in the bulkley valley region trying to plan a wedding in the Okanagan, a place I love but unaware of what was available, seemed next to impossible. I conversed with Summerland Flowers (Edgy Petals) through email for about 4 months trying to display the picture of the tropical theme wedding I was seeing in my head and hoping for.....Arlene nailed it...she herself personally attended to every detail, from the flower for my hair, which was delievered to the hairdresser, the bouquets delivered to the resort, to every last detail of the decorating touches, reds oranges yellows and the greenery of palm leaves-stunning. Everywhere I looked, the guest book table, the guest tables, cake table, bar area, buffet table, had be touched by her beautiful talent. We were married on the beach, she had it all from the archway covered in white flowing toule and colorful flowers to teake torches and the final touch of flower petals outlining the aisle. There was not a corner untouched by her talent of reading my vision of the perfect destination wedding at home.........Thank you Summerland Flowers for being such a big part my perfect day! Not only do I have the lasting memories of my tropical wedding, I met a new friend!
